Deputy General Manager - Cost & Contract

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of managers and QS to carry out audit and management on all project cost and contract matters
• Ensure project execution in compliance with company procedures and designated authorities
• Collaborate with other stakeholders to help deliver projects on time, within budget, to the desired quality and safety standard
• Enhance best practice on cost and contract management of property developments in Mainland China and HK, including all aspects of pre- and post-contract works
• Maintain and update project management manual, standard construction and consultant contract templates, master tenderer lists, etc.
• Prepare and update internal cost reports and benchmarking with respect to PRC and HK construction market
• Engage data analysis for monitoring of project progress and performance

Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or relevant discipline with recognized professional qualification
• Minimum 20 years of experience, of which at least 10 years must be in a managerial capacity for large-scale mixed-use developments and min 5 years with developers
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, fluent Putonghua is a must
• Frequent travel is required as and when necessary
