Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and review of retail strategies at portfolio level and at individual project level to improve mall performance, create differentiation. E.g.
-Define consumer journey and map out customer demands
-Identify key performance factors to drive tenant/trade success
-Create tenant mix strategies
- Prepare for and participate in executive level external and internal meetings and discussions, incl. client/tenant global and regional CEO, board meeting, industry conferences
- Actively lead collaboration with local teams (e.g. Leasing, Marketing, CRM) on weekly basis to build rapport, understand latest trends and situation, drive execution of aligned retail strategies
- Lead preparation of internal discussion with executives before quarterly reviews, to enhance effectiveness of such reviews
-Take end to end ownership on prep work/materials, with support from junior team member and colleagues from other teams (e.g. Finance)
- Collect market intelligence and conduct data analyses on consumer trend, key accounts, tenant mix and business performance
Requirements
- Bachelors’ degree with minimum 7 years in commercial real estate or min 5 years in top-tier management consulting in consumer goods, banking or retail
- Strong business mindset, with 1st hand knowledge and passion for retail in Hong Kong and especially Mainland China
- Mature and very strong executive level presentation and interpersonal skills with good written & spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
- Leadership quality and skills to coach junior and build rapport across the organization
- Strong analytical and structured problem solving skills
- Proficient in Excel or other analytics tools and PowerPoint
- Occasional travel to the Mainland (if based in Hong Kong) or Hong Kong (if based in Shanghai)
