Senior Tax Manager

Responsibilities     

1. Maintain and upkeep Mainland Tax and related regulatory requirements
2. Evaluate impacts of new Tax Law and requirements and perform risk assessment on non-compliance
3. Establish internal control and monitor Tax compliance of the Company’s entities in Mainland
4. Analyze and advise tax planning for various business activities
5. Coordinate with Finance teams on Mainland’s tax related issues and new regulations.  Support the Company’s Mainland entities to resolve tax issues.
6. Review statutory reports per local statutory requirements of the Company
7. Prepare and submit regular reports to Hong Kong Head Office; deal with external auditors and Tax bureaus on tax filings and responses to queries
8. Work with Group Finance and stakeholders in coordinating and/or implementing certain group-wide initiatives and processes alignment and improvement
9. Monitor changes and provide suggestions for compliance with accounting standards, tax law and listing requirements
10. Assist the senior finance management to oversee accounting and financial management activities of various business units ensure compliance with local statutory requirement as well as corporate standard.  Prepare budget, analysis, management reports and other ad hoc reports.
11. Support the senior finance management lead or participate in ad hoc projects.

Requirements

12. Degree in Business, Finance / Accounting, Economics or related discipline
13. Member of the HKICPA/ Certified Public Accountant of CICPA or equivalent
14. At least 8 years of relevant post qualification experience in listed / sizable organizations and work experience on the Mainland is essential. Experience in big four CPA firms is preferred
15. All-rounded experienced finance management with solid experience on Tax advisory
16. Experience in negotiate with Local Tax, State Tax or other statutory bodies is an added advantage
17. Strong knowledge of Mainland China operations, GAAPs, tax and relevant statutory rules and regulations
18. Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is a must
19. Require to station in Mainland China
