The Assistant Manager – HR Technology role focuses on leveraging SAP SuccessFactors and SAP HCM to drive HR digital transformation. This position is responsible for optimizing HR systems and workflows, harnessing people analytics to enable data-driven decisions, and leading the adoption of AI across HR operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the key stakeholder for HR Systems such as SAP SuccessFactors modules and SAP HCM.
  • Lead system configuration, enhancements, and upgrades to align with evolving business needs.
  • Analyze and redesign HR workflows to reduce manual effort, improve cycle time, and leverage digital capabilities.
  • Partner with IT and vendors to resolve complex technical issues and manage system integrations.
  • Build and maintain dynamic dashboards, management reports, and data extracts using SuccessFactors Reporting, Power BI, or other analytics tools.
  • Collaborate with HRBPs and key stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into actionable people insights.
  • Drive data quality initiatives and establish data governance framework, perform regular data cleansing, and monitor key metrics (completeness, accuracy, consistency).
  • Enable HR team to self‑serve analytics by providing training and documentation.
  • Identify and pilot AI‑powered solutions to automate repetitive HR tasks
  • Lead or support AI‑related projects and integrate AI capabilities into existing HR systems, improving user experience and operational efficiency.
  • Lead or participate in HR technology projects from requirement gathering to UAT and change management.
  • Act as a bridge between HR operations, IT, and external vendors – translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Provide advanced support and guide HR users in leveraging systems, maintaining data quality, and using AI tools effectively.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications in SAP SuccessFactors and SAP HCM are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience (5-7 years) working with SAP SuccessFactors and SAP HCM, including implementation, configuration, and ongoing system management.
  • Proficiency in reporting tools (SuccessFactors Reporting, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
  • Effective communication in English and Chinese (written and spoken) to collaborate with global and local stakeholders.
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.
  • Passionate about AI innovation and continuous improvement. Proactive in identifying opportunities to automate and optimize.
