Position Summary
The Head of Brand Communications is a senior leadership role responsible for defining, executing, and managing the Brand Communications strategies. This position ensures that all communications are consistent, compelling, and effectively convey the company's values and message to all stakeholders.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
1) Strategy Development
- Develop and implement comprehensive Brand Communications strategies that align with company goals and market trends
- Ensure the strategies should be consistent across all channels and platforms
- Identify opportunities for brand growth and new ways of communication
- Use data and feedback to enable measurements, refine strategies and improve effectiveness
2) Brand & ESG Communications
- Take the lead in managing all internal and external Brand Communications including but not limited to being the custodian of corporate brand hierarchy, assets and identities across the parent corporate brands i.e. Hang Lung Group and Hang Lung Properties, as well as all projects and brand assets in Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland, and maintaining brand standards and consistency
- Develop and manage all brand materials and platforms, such as corporate website, social media, content creation and publications, advertising, multimedia and videos, collaterals and memorabilia etc.
- Develop and manage annual ESG Communications that promote the company’s thought-leadership and foster sustainability as culture within the company
- Lead the corporate Community Investment strategies and programs across Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland by working collaboratively with all departments that create positive impacts to the communities and the company’s reputations
3) Team Leadership
- Be a trusted business partner with management team and across different departments
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of communications professionals
- Develop the annual plan and assign ownerships and projects/campaigns/operations to team members, ensuring timely and effective delivery
- Foster a collaborative and creative work environment within and outside the company
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Master / Degree holder in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related disciplines with be an advantage
- At least 15 years of solid experience in corporate and/or brand communications and/or marketing in sizable, listed companies, multinational companies or communications agencies, with minimum 8 years in functional leadership position
- Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically and creatively
- Able to adapt to changing market trends and company needs
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain teams, relationships with all key stakeholders, media, influencers etc.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
